Master Urat

This is a perfect example of what happens when:

You don’t keep your pets a safe way away from dangerous chemicals.

You don’t read the labels on your chemicals.

And when you store Acids and Bases together.

Wave-Particle Duality - Physics effs upp?

Not exactly, luckily this is something I’ve actually learned quite about, now everything I’m about to write is a very VERY VERY watered down version of the wave/particle duality of electrons, but it should help you figure it out.

Ok so basically we did some math and shit and ascertained mathematically that Electrons must be a particle to follow all of our predetermined laws of physics. Now realize these are based on laws that are almost considered straight up fact, like 1+1=2 level of fact. So if any evidence came up saying an electron wasn’t a particle, that’d be like finding evidence that 1+1 does not = 2.

So a few years later… that kind of happens. The best way to describe the experiment is for you to imagine you have a super soaker, and you are spraying at 2 slits in a wall, and there is another wall behind it. Now if you do this with a flashlight, you get a series of weird wavy stuffs on the wall behind it, because the photons are actually waves and interfere with each other as they pass through.

Water droplets, on the other hand, are particles. So they don’t care (much/enough) about each other as they pass through, and you just spray 2 lines on the wall.

So this Scientist guy does the same thing, except instead of a super soaker it’s (If I remember correctly) a slab of special carbon that emits electrons, much like a super soaker.

So he sprays the electrons through two tinsy slits at a wall of material that makes a dot on it when it gets hit by an electron. And lo and behold, instead of 2 slits, the wall gets wavy shapes on it just like light makes.

Ok wait, well electrons repel each other and shit, so what if we do it 1 electron at a time? Nope, still the same thing happens. So basically we just proved 1+1=3 at this point. Back to the drawing board with electrons.

And we didn’t get an answer until recently when we engineered a way to monitor electrons as they pass through the air. Thus we could tell what hole the electrons were going through and watch and see when the electron starts to bend its path. that would give us a clue as to what the fuck is going on here.

Prepare to have your mind blown. Because you see, the moment we set up the machinery to monitor the electrons, the suddenly stopped bending all over the place and started flying straight, and stopped forming a wave pattern and started acting like particles.

Electrons can fucking tell when you’re watching them o.Oand thus they turn from a wave, to a particle (kind of)

Ok so now we went from 1+1=3 to 1+1=muffin. until after a bit of mathing, we could only come up with one answer. Enter the concept of the multiverse theory. Basically, scientists proposed that everytime a “chance” happens through chaos, our universe splits into 2 seperate universes and they go on their merry way until someone observes the event in one of the universes, and then the other unobserved universe ceases to exist.

Now realize when you are observing an event and its consequences, the universe transcends time itself. If the event is going to be observed, say, 30 minutes or 30 years from now, you can almost always assume that the event you observed is the only one way care about.

Except, you see, for things as small as electrons. For you see, when the electron approaches those two slits, our universe splits into 2 universes, one for each possibility. However, those two universes are exceptionally close together, by 1 electron exactly. So the electrons interact with each other across two entire universes and cause each others path to bend.

Then they collide with their walls in their own universes, someone observes one of the collisions (by seeing the speck on the wall) and the other unobserved electron fades from all existence in time. but because we observed that the electron collided off course, it stays that way, despite the fact that now according to time and space there was no other electron it interfered with.

tl;dr: Fuck electrons.

Excuse the fuck out of me.
Some of us live in places where the only place you can buy comics is Barnes and Noble.
Some of us don’t like comics because of the decades of continuity, complicated multiple universes, and the fact that, while there is a huge amount of talent in the industry, there are countless comics that have been tainted by poor writing and artwork.
Some of us prefer films because it is more relevant to our interests.
Some of us don’t have the income or time to spare to enjoy comics.
You don’t need to have read the comics to appreciate or be a fan of a character.
This attitude of superiority from people who are “real fans” because they read the comics makes me rage so hard.
Maybe people would be more eager to read comics if comic fans were more inclusive.

60$ to read marvel comics all you want for a year, including the Avengers, Thor, etc etc. So go ahead and keep griping about how hard and expensive to buy comics and read them, those of us who knew who Loki was before this movie even came up will just smile and nod. Yeah huh, so expensive, no stores around, whatever you say kiddo.whatever you say.

Once again…
The point is that we can enjoy a character in a movie without having read the comics and stuff. I’m not saying you can’t read the comics and stuff or that its really expensive, but it is time consuming. You can’t just say we aren’t allowed to like something because we didn’t read the comics.

Please point out where someone said you aren’t allowed to like something because you didn’t read the comics. Cause I sure didn’t say that.I was simply responding to these two funny little lines:“Some of us live in places where the only place you can buy comics is Barnes and Noble.”&“Some of us don’t have the income or time to spare to enjoy comics.”Well just a brief look at the posters tumblr shows they certainly have plenty of spare time on their hands that they spend on tumblr, that leaves the question of money. And if someone can’t afford to spend 60$ on something to have access to it for an entire year then either A: they’re poor as fuck and should get a job or B: They aren’t as “obsessed” as they say they are. What’s that? You’re obsessed with Loki? Oh cool, you read the new avengers comic that came out last week? Wait? You can’t afford to read the comics? So how “Obsessed” are you again?
I understand where the poster is coming from. I’m just saying it doesn’t change the fact they sound like a 3 year old who doesn’t know how to problem solve yet.
